City Man arrested on Burglary Charges

On Friday officers from the Cumberland Police Department arrested William Foster Younger Jr. on several active warrants.  One of the warrants was a result of a burglary that was reported to the Cumberland Police Department on 12/2/2017 at a N. Chase Street residence. The victim observed Younger kick in the rear door and entered the residence.  She stated that Younger then pushed her backwards and she was able to run out a separate doorway.  Officers were unable to locate Younger and applied for charges.  Younger also had four outstanding warrants through the Circuit Court of Allegany County.  Younger had two warrants for failure to appear and two warrants for violation of probation.  Younger was taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was held on a $5,000.00 for the burglary warrant and held without bond on the remaining warrants.
