The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will meet in executive session this afternoon to mull over the legal issues surrounding the closed CSX Bridges on the city’s Westside.
We asked Councilman Seth Bernard about the next step in getting the bridge issue resolved…

I have family that has worked for CSX for decades. According to those who work at the Cumberland CSX. CSX will most likely eliminate all jobs in Cumberland except for approximately 50 positions. Those 50 positions will fix engines or cars.
The only way Cumberland will see money for the bridges is from the Insurance Company CSX pays for matters like striking a bridge etc.
