On 04/11/18 at 9:04pm Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to the 200blk of Baltimore Ave for a report of a strong armed robbery. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who stated that they were walking on Baltimore Ave when they were approached by a black male asking for money. The suspect then grabbed their purse and fled from the area. There were no injuries reported. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time. Anyone with possible information is asked to contact the Cumberland Police Dept at 301-777-1600.
