City Police Make Disorderly Conduct Arrest & Serve Several Warrants

On Monday, July 2nd, 2018 a Cumberland Police Officer was on patrol in the Park Street area when he observed a male kick a parked vehicle.  The Officer made contact with the male and identified him a Nicholas Craig Moreland. Moreland was placed under arrest and a search also revealed he was in possession of a quantity of Marijuana.  He was cited and released.

 

Nicholas Craig Moreland, age; 27, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charges:  Disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana under 10 grams.

Cited and released.

 

Arrest Warrant Served

 

On Monday, July 2nd, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Darrell Wayne Holler.  The warrant was issued by District Court when application was made by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance pending trial.

 

Darrell Wayne Holler, age; 56, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charge:  CDS possession not marihuana.

 

Arrest Warrant Served

 

On Monday, July 2nd, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Daniel Erwin Smith III.  The warrant was issued when application was made to District Court by a C3I Detective from an investigation back on July 9th, 2017.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

 

Daniel Erwin Smith III, age; 28, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charges:  Child abuse 1st degree, child abuse 2nd degree, neglect of a minor, and contribute to the condition of a child.

Held without bond.
