City Police Make Disturbing The Peace & Disorderly Conduct Arrests

On 6/10/2018 the Cumberland City Police responded to an apartment complex in the 400 block of Grand Ave for a disturbance. Officers spoke to several witnesses who advised John Newcomb had threatened to stab another tenant. Officers located a knife that Mr. Newcomb allegedly threatened the victim with. Mr. Newcomb was placed under arrest as a result of the disturbance. Mr. Newcomb was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance and released on his personal recognizance.

Arrested – John Hollis Newcomb II (35) Cumberland, MD
Charges – Disturbing the peace and Attempted Assault 2nd

Adult Arrest

On 6/11/2018 an officer from Cumberland City Police observed a subject urinating on a business in the 700 block of Park Street. The suspect was identified as Daniel Robinson Jr. Mr. Robinson was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland City Police Station. Mr. Robinson was issued two citations and released pending trial in District Court.

Charges – Disorderly Conduct, Urinating in Public (Civil)
