On Monday, November 1st, 2021 the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Bond Street residence for the report of a disturbance. When officers arrived, they spoke with a witness and a female victim that stated Justin Tyler Andrews had assaulted the female victim prior to police arriving. Officers observed an injury to the victim’s neck area that was consistent with the statements. Andrews was arrested and charged with assault. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
