City Police Serves Bench Warrant & Criminal Summons

On Tuesday, April 30th, 2019, the Cumberland City Police served a Bench Warrant on Timothy J. Flynn, age 32, of Cumberland MD. Flynn’s Warrant was due to him failing to appear in District Court on April 25th, 2019, for failing to send child to school. Flynn was taken before the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance and released on his own recognizance pending trial in District Court.

Arrested: Timothy John Flynn    Age: 32 

Charges: Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear

 

Criminal Summons Arrest

On April 30th, 2019, a Criminal Summons was served on Matthew D. Washington, age 18, of Cumberland, MD. The summons was in reference to an incident on April 7th, 2019, which occurred in the 900 block of Gay St. During this incident, it is alleged that Washington was playing basketball with two juveniles when he became upset. Washington then assaulted the juveniles causing minor injuries to one of the juvenile victims. Subsequently, Washington was charged with 2 counts of Second Degree Assault and one count of Disorderly Conduct. Washington was served with the Summons and released pending trial in District Court.

Arrested: Matthew Desales Washington   Age:   18  

Charges: 2 Counts of Assault – 2nd Degree, Disorderly Conduct
