The Allegany County Commissioners at its public meeting passed a resolution establishing a Regulatory Reform Commission. The Commission’s purpose is to examine policies and practices relating to permits, planning, and land development. This is one of a number of recent steps that the Commissioners have taken in reorganizing government to be more responsive to the needs of businesses. The resolution, presented by County Administrator Brandon Butler, establishes a commission comprised of community and business leaders in Allegany County.
