Comptroller Franchot Fully Supports New Allegany High School Project

Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot tells WCBC News that he fully supports the new Allegany High School project- and believes the state will do whatever it has to do to help complete the necessary funding package. When bids were opened in February, they came in around $52 million- down 8 million from the first round of bids last September. The funding gap between available funds and what’s needed to complete the package is about three million. Franchot said that both he and Governor Larry Hogan are supportive of the project…
