With a forecast of 3 to 5 inches of snow it seems irresponsible to not postpone the event. The road to the event is narrow, two lanes and downhill from either end as the entrance is in a valley.
Hopefully the hospital has some empty rooms.

It’s okay though, with all the swells parting at the CCC there won’t be any cops or DUI checkpoints out on CCC Rd on Saturday night.. let them slide into Evitts Creek

How about cancel the event you idiots. How about the people who are required to work the event will you pay the wrongful termination lawsuits that will happen since they got no right to call off or waving the hospital bill the monopoly system has over the county. Lastly how about the burial that someone will have to arrange for their dead love one.

Take it from me my own mother had to work in nasty weather or she was fired. One year she almost never got home because some obsessive employer made her work even though the weather was calling for 14 inches of snow. For 2 days my mother had to leave her car down the hill. This hospital like some now defunct business because both owners died 12 months apart from illness are uncaring and don’t think of consequences. I won’t attend anything they sponsor even if they want $500 per person charge. Lets ask them why Frostburg has no hospital even though it was convenient for those in Lonaconing, Grantsville and Finzel alongside Frostburg to reach that hospital called Miners Hospital.
