County to Officially Sign Butler to Contract

After having voted to hire Brandon Butler as the new County Administrator in November- the Allegany County Commissioners will officially sign him to a contract during this evening’s business meeting.  Butler, who is in the midst of wrapping up his stint at the Maryland Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation, is set to begin his new duties in March. Contract details have not yet been announced, but several well placed sources suggest that Butler’s deal will be for four years with a salary of $115,000. The deal does include annual evaluations.
