CPD Make City Ordinance And Trespassing Arrests

On Sunday, March 25th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department responded to East Industrial Blvd for the complaint of a subject discharging an air gun.  When the officer arrived, evidence was obtained to indicate that Kenneth Lloyd Bowser had recently discharged an air soft gun and may have also shot the complainant’s dog which prompted the police being contacted.  Bowser was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department where he was cited and released pending trial.

 

Kenneth Lloyd Bowser, age; 33, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charge:  Did discharge, fire, shoot any air gun made to discharge any shot within the City limits.

Cited and released.

 

Trespassing Arrest

 

On Sunday, March 25th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 200 block of Maryland Avenue for a suspicious individual sleeping on a porch.  When officers arrived, the subject in question was identified as Garrett B. Carnefix.  The property was city owned and posted for no trespassing.  Carnefix was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing.  He was later cited and released pending trial.

Charge:  Trespassing posted property.

Cited and released.
