On 03/03/2020 at approximately 4:30PM officers from the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of Yale Street for a trespassing complaint. Officers contacted the victim and learned the property was clearly posted with No Trespassing signs. Officer spoke to the suspect and identified him as Anthony Michael Vassallo. Officers confirmed Mr. Vasallo had no valid reason to be on the property. Mr. Vasallo was arrested and transported to the police station. Mr. Vasallo was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial in District Court.

Charge – Trespassing on Posted Property
Adult Arrest
On 03/03/2020 at approximately 10:45PM officers from the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to an apartment complex on South Waverley Terrace for a subject sleeping in the hallway. Officers arrived and spoke to the subject identifying him as Tyler Anthony McMarlin. Mr. McMarlin admitted he did not reside at the complex and provided his address. Mr. McMarlin was advised to leave the area and he complied. Approximately thirty minutes later Mr. McMarlin was observed entering a basement to a residence in the 600 block of Maryland Avenue. Officers spoke to the resident and learned that they did not give Mr. McMarlin permission to enter their residence. Mr. McMarlin was placed under arrest and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center pending an initial appearance in District Court.
