Volunteer student actors and police officers will be employed to stage a mock car crash which will include a fire department extrication of patients and a police investigation. Participating partners in this drill, which is being spearheaded by Cumberland Police Department’s Sergeant Andy Tichnell, include the Cumberland City Police, the Cumberland Fire Department, and Adams Funeral Home with vehicles being donate by Peers Towing.

Fort Hill’s prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2018, and this event is part of week-long presentations by law enforcement to educate students about the dangers of distracted and impaired driving. On April 25th, in cooperation with Chick-Fil-A, there will be a seat belt check at the school, and on April 27th, in cooperation with Timbrook Honda, the school will host fatal vision goggle demonstrations.  Allegany will host similar presentations the week of May 7th.
