On 11/19/2020 at approximately 1:00 AM an officer from the Cumberland City Police Department was on patrol in the 200 block of Greene Street when they observed a female pulling on a door handle of a vehicle. The officer stopped and identified the suspect as Stefanie Ann Werry. The officer contacted the owner of the vehicle that Ms. Werry was attempting to enter. The owner advised they did not know Ms. Werry and did not give anyone permission to open their vehicle. Ms. Werry was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner. Ms. Werry was released on her personal recognizance.

Charge – Tampering with a motor vehicle
