On Friday morning, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Walnut St. for a report of a large disturbance. Prior to arriving on scene officers were advised by dispatch that a subject had been stabbed. Once on the scene officers located a male victim who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers provided medical assistance until CFD arrived and transported the victim to WMHS for treatment. This is an on-going investigation and further details will follow.
