Overwhelmed by the massive crowd that attended the first ever Cumberland Pride Festival earlier this month- event organizer Jacqie McKenzie tells WCBC News said plans are already in the works for next years event. The festival, which was billed as a celebration of diversity and sexual freedom, took place on the corner of Liberty Street and Baltimore Avenue on the downtown mall. More than a thousand people, many identifying themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, gathered for the six hour event.
