State Senator George Edwards says one of the highlights of this year’s session of the Maryland General Assembly was securing a million dollars in planning and design funds in the capital budget for the planned Education Profession and Health Sciences Center at Frostburg State University. This proposed project is for the construction of a new facility to house most of the programs offered through the College of Education and the newly created RN to BSN program, as well as the Doctorate in Education and Master of Nursing programs that are in the planning stages.
