Elk Garden mayor Marian Droppleman, this past weekend, swore James “Jimmy” Stewart in as the new police chief. A law enforcement fund is being established for anyone who would like to contribute toward local law enforcement. Donations can be mailed to the town at P.O. Box 70, Elk Garden, WV 26717 or made at M&T Bank. All donations should be earmarked for law enforcement.
