Route 28 is currently shut down with a large tree blocking the roadway near the intersection of Parker Road. Power lines are down from the fall, and fire department, DOT crews, and Potomac Energy responders are on-scene. Motorists should avoid the area of route 28 near the intersection of Parker Road until further notice
