Farrell Comments on Board’s Approval of Interim Contract with Possible Vacancy

The Allegany County Board of Education voted unanimously at its public meeting to approve the contract of interim superintendent of schools Jeff Blank- finalizing the process that began several  months ago.  The contract runs through the  2019-20 school year with the board expected to begin the search/selection process for a permanent superintendent in the near future.     No disrespect intended but Mr. Farrell is in so far over his head. The positions really seems like a struggle for him.
