A week after a town hall meeting attended by more than a hundred citizens- the Cumberland Mayor and City Council announced last night that while no final budget decisions have been made- they will have to be made in the next few weeks. Mayor Brian Grim said that more than two dozen people spoke out during that meeting, there was no clear consensus. He said the city has learned recently that to fill its budget shortfall without cutting services, a 20% tax increase would be necessary…
