The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a * Flood Warning for... Northwestern Washington County in north central Maryland... Eastern Allegany County in western Maryland... Northwestern Morgan County in the Panhandle of West Virginia... * Until 545 PM EDT. * At 152 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated repeated heavy rain that will cause flooding to develop. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen and an additional one to two inches is possible. * Some locations that may experience flooding include... Hancock, Berkeley Springs, Great Cacapon, Little Orleans, Forest Park, Lineburg, Bellegrove, Berryville, Spohrs Crossroads, New Hope and Shady Grove. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
