Frost Elementary School was recently awarded the Imagine Nation math award for highest growth in achievement scores from the beginning of the school year until the end of the school year in Allegany County. Students in grades 3-5 at Frost Elementary participated in Imagine Math, which is a computer-based program that builds conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and positive attitudes toward math. Students at Frost participated in the program three times a week and enhanced their math skills through journal writing.
