Frostburg State University President Ron Nowaczyk and members of his executive cabinet presented the State of the University address Thursday afternoon in the Pealer Recital Hall of the Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. Among the topics covered were updates on facilities, including new construction in the planning stages; budgets, and new initiatives in student affairs and alumni relations. Members of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee discussed the goals that have been established and the next steps in determining priorities and action steps. Nowaczyk then focused on his vision for what the University will look like for its 125th anniversary in 2023. Earlier Thursday President Nowacyzk was a guest on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” and he talked about why he feels FSU provides an attractive higher education option for many students…
