As of 5:00 Friday, all Garrett County Public Schools related extracurricular events are suspended.
GCPS continued with a public release:
That means all conditioning, workouts, practices, etc. regardless of location are no longer allowed until further notice.
Also, our facilities will not be able to be used by any groups until further notice either. That includes all indoor and outdoor activities (youth football, soccer, etc). We have not CANCELLED Fall sports – we have SUSPENDED them. We are not planning at this time to start practices on August 12.
We are hoping for a quick return to activities.
