Gas prices plunge for the holiday

Heading into Christmas, gas prices continuing to fall with Cumberland leading the way. The national average as of Christmas eve was $2.01 for a gallon of regular unleaded, holding steady from a week ago. The statewide average in Maryland stands at $2.00- a drop of two cents from last week. In Cumberland prices remain under two dollars, down three cents from last week to $1.96
