Gov. Hogans Approval Rating Growing Among Marylanders

A new poll finds Governor Larry Hogan's approval rating is growing among Marylanders. The OpinionWorks poll of 802 likely voters found a 71 percent approval rate for Hogan, compared to 63 percent in a similar poll last November. The poll was conducted from August 18 to August 30, and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 3.5 percent. OpinionWorks President Steve Raabe also says voters have appreciated Hogan pushing for tax cuts, even though most of Hogan's tax cut proposals have not made it through the legislature. Raabe says voters understand that Democrats control the legislature, and understand why his tax cut proposals have not become law….
