Gun Control Advocate Visiting Annapolis

As lawmakers in Maryland debate a gun control bill, one of this nation's leading gun control advocates is coming to Annapolis in the coming week. Sarah Brady will be in Annapolis on Wednesday to help raise money for Marylanders to Prevent Gun Violence.  She will also meet with Governor Martin O'Malley. Brady is the co-founder of the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, and has advocated for gun control legislation across the country. She is the wife of James Brady, the Reagan Administration press secretary, who was left paralyzed after the 1981 assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan. Mrs. Brady says  the tragedy in Newtown Connecticut in December is an event that should have many people re-evaluating or at least giving further thought to issue of gun control…
