The National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia, has posted a "Heat Advisory" for our neighbors to the east…mainly in the region around the metropolitan areas, where heat indices will exceed 100 degrees.
In the WCBC area, highs today will reach the lower 90s, which could cause problems for the elderly and those who have medical conditions.
