Hogan Applauds Footer as Accomplishment of Public/Private Partnership

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan came away from his tour of the Footer Dye Works building impressed with the renovations that have taken place, and optimistic that it will prove to a tremendous economic development tool for the county. Michael Joy, developer for the $9 million renovation, said this week that governor was “very engaged” during the 30 minute walk through noting that Hogan was in real estate before entering politics and had a clear understanding of the process. The governor told WCBC News that the Footer project is a great example of what can be accomplished through public/private partnerships…
