Hogan Halfway to Wiping Out $700 Million Deficit

One the top priority’s of Maryland’s republican governor Larry Hogan when he took office last January was to bring the state’s long-standing structural budget deficit under control. Judging from his first stab at it, he's more than halfway there. State Senator George Edwards said that the governor had hoped to wipe out the $700 million deficit during his first year, but there was a push back from democrats- that cut the governor’s plan in half…
