Hogan Seeks Harsher Sentences For Repeat Violent Offenders

Several of Gov. Larry Hogan's crime-fighting bills took center stage Tuesday in Annapolis. Measures aimed at trigger pullers, gangs and other repeat violent offenders all received a hearing before a House committee. WBAL reports Hogan declared he has absolutely no tolerance for repeat offenders. He introduced bills to lock up criminals for a long time. Skyrocketing crime in Baltimore City prompted the legislation, but a number of city community groups oppose it.
