The Cumberland Times News reports volunteer firefighters from Mineral, Hampshire, Allegany and Garrett counties responded to a reported fully-engulfed house fire in the Fountainhead subdivision late Wednesday morning. Emergency centers in all four counties dispatched units to the scene when the fire was first reported at 24 Hazelton Drive at about 10:45 a.m. Heavy smoke was reportedly visible as first units approached the scene. Early into the fire operation, a propane tank from a barbecue grill exploded, according to radio broadcasts. The fire was reported under control about 11:15 a.m. No injuries were reported in the fire operation, located off of Fountainhead Drive and state Route 46.
