Over the weekend, there was a door hanging campaign to pass out information from those who do not want to sell their homes for the Maryland Avenue Redevelopment Project. The information is entitled “Stand With Us,” and says the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation has indicated that it’s up to the city and the developer whether to use eminent domain.
