The Allegany County Commissioners Thursday unanimously adopted a LaVale comprehensive rezoning document.  Phil Hager, county planning director, said the rezoning aimed to bring the zoning for the area into line with the realities on the ground in LaVale- essentially expanding opportunities for commercial development. The focus is primarily in the area of Vocke Road and Campground Road. The commissioners conducted a public hearing on the proposed changes last month, and also allowed for additional comment following the hearing….
