There was a local “March For Our Lives” event held Saturday in Downtown Cumberland, concluding on the steps of Cumberland City Hall.
The topic was gun control, and the national march was born out of the recent shooting of 17 students at a high school in Florida, and included voter registration and a number of speeches via an open microphone.
