November 19th, 2014 by WCBC Radio

Two Rosedale sisters have been indicted on charges they embezzled from non-profit organizations in Maryland.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Sharon Harrison was a bookkeeper for four non profit groups–Health, Education, Advocacy Life Incorporated, Between Friends Incorporated, Jobs, Housing and Recovery and the Reservoir Hill Improvement Council. Prosecutors say she embezzled more than $1 million from those groups which received federal funding.

Her sister, Kimberly allegedly embezzled more than $100,000 from a non profit she founded that her sister also stole from.
