59 year old Michael Scott Arbogast, of Maysville, West Virginia, was killed Monday afternoon when a Jeep hit his motorcycle on Route 135 in Mountain Lake Park.
Garrett County Sheriff's Deputies say the mishap occurred when the Jeep, operated by 30 year old Saprina Gerard, of Keyser, entered the highway at its intersection with Broadford Road. Arbogast was pronounced dead at the scene. Gerard and a juvenile passenger were taken to Garrett Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
Route 135 was shut down for two hours after the 1:45 PM crash. Deer Park Firefighters and Southern Rescue Squad responded.
Deputies are continuing their investigation.
