Megan Shaffer will be sentenced today for the murder of Alexander Stevens, of Frostburg.
The sentencing hearing is set for 1:00 PM in Garrett County Circuit Court. Clerk of Court Tim Miller tells WCBC News that the sentencing is the only case scheduled for that time slot, so it should occur without much of a wait.
Shaffer was convicted of 2nd Degree Murder by a jury in March, and has been in the Garrett County Detention Center since.
