Allegany County 911 dispatched Cumberland Police, Fire and EMS units to the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Franklin Street just after midnight Sunday morning for a two vehicle accident.
One person was injured and transported to Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, and initial reports said one of the vehicles hit a nearby residence, although damage was believed to be minimal.
