Pennsylvania Democratic Leader Jay Costa has introduced a bill which would prevent the practice of “food shaming” children at school meals.
There are instances where school meals have been withheld from students because their parents owe money for meals, and schools then require the child to wear a bracelet or hand stamp to alert cafeteria staff…
