While many people still view it as one big party, the annual PACE reception in Annapolis more often that not yields leads on funding for local water and sewer projects, and allows local leaders the opportunity to network and make important contacts with state government and federal officials. Public Works Director Paul Kahl says that while communication via emails or telephone is fine- there is no more effective way to deliver a message than with a face to face meeting with those most directly involved in the county’s area of need on a state level.
