On July 12, 2015 at 2:37 PM, officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to Sheetz store located at 419 Virginia Avenue for a shoplifting complaint.  Upon the officers arrival they were informed by the manager that he observed Ian Lee Hoffman place store merchandise inside his pockets.  Hoffman was stopped by the store manager outside the store and the items were recovered.  Hoffman was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was processed and issued a criminal citation.

Charge: Theft less than $100

 

Arrest Warrant Served

On July 12, 2015 Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Carl Nelson Bohrer, age 39 of Cumberland, Maryland.  The warrant was issued after Bohrer failed to appear in District Court on theft charges.  Bohrer was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner.  Bohrer was later released on his own personal recognizance.
