Protesters visit downtown Mall

May 31st, 2020 by WCBC Radio

About 75 people showed up to protest the death of George Floyd Sunday near Cumberland City Hall.

Chanting "No justice, no peace," "Black lives matter," and various slogans in support of Floyd, the group did march through the downtown area.

The protesters did wear face masks to protect against spreading COVID 19, but social distancing was a challenge often not observed due to the nature of protests.

There was no report of violence.

Pity, had they destroyed the area we could have gotten some fed money to rebuild.

These assholes wore masks long ago before it was mandated by the government. They aren’t intimidated by laws or government mandates and never were. The only ones intimidated are the weasel politicians in office.

Really pisses off the local bigots/Trumpers when people stand up to defend themselves from the same local white trash/bigots! Love it. ACAB! (ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS)
