The wind storm that hit our area Thursday night, continuing on Friday, resulted in a number of significant power outages, and some pockets are still out as we move through Sunday.
Several thousand lost electric in Allegany, Garrett, Washington, Mineral, Hampshire, Grant and Hardy Counties with hundreds of trees and limbs brought down by the gusts.
Potomac Edison crews have been working on the problems for over two days.
