School Superintendent process subject to debate

August 9th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

Last month, the Allegany County Board of Education voted 3 to zero, with two absentions to name Jeff Blank as the interim superintendent of schools. Blank was the chief administrative officer and took the reigns of the system on August 1st.  During the consideration phase of the appointment, board members Tammy Fraley and Deb Frank had asked that embattled board member Wayne Foote recuse himself due to interim candidate Kim Kalbaugh, the chief academic officer, being involved as a witness in the state board's removal case against Foote.

Sources to WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” report that  Kalbaugh has sought redress in the form of appeals to the local ethics panel, and State Superintendent Karen Salmon. Indications are  that neither ruled in favor of Kalbaugh, who could ask the local school board to reconsider the appointment, or the eligibility of Foote to be part of the decision.

These liberal women are going to set the women’s movement back decades with their whining. Majority rules, get over it.

      > Even majorities have to follow laws. Why is that so hard to grasp?

There truly is no limit to the vapidity of the three amigos. The appearance of ethics is simply not even considered. If this mental ‘density’ could be processed into something tangible, we could sell it to Trump to build his wall.

I don’t understand what the 2 previous comments are in an uproar about. This is more fake news from the Dave Norman show.
Unnamed “sources” and “indications” are nothing more than idle speculation at this point. This site has a habit of rumor mongering without any real evidence to back it.
