The Allegany County Public School System will extend the end of the third marking period of the 2017-2018 school year to Wednesday, April 4, 2018, as the result of lost instructional days due to inclement weather. Thursday, April 5, 2018, will now be a two hour delayed opening for students to allow for teacher work time. Report cards will be posted in Aspen on Friday, April 13, 2018.
Schools have been closed a total of seven days due to inclement weather this year, which puts the last day of school for students on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, pending no further school closings.
