Suspect student(s) identified in threat made at Allegany

Allegany County Superintendent of Schools Dr David Cox confirmed to WCBC News Thursday morning that the culprit, or culprits responsible for a threat made at Allegany High School on Wednesday have been identified. Cox said that an arrest has been made and the student or students will be dealt with by the school system utilizing the disciplinary policies in place. Cox said that as a precautionary measure, officers will remain at Allegany on Thursday and Friday and there will be controlled entry into the building through Friday. In addition, all after school and evening activities that had been scheduled at Allegany on Thursday and Friday remain cancelled as a precaution.
