A third Maryland inmate has died of the coronavirus, Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services officials said in a statement. WBAL reports the inmate, a man in his 60s, died Wednesday. He had underlying medical conditions and had been living at Roxbury Correctional Institution until he was hospitalized in late April.
Citing privacy laws, corrections officials could not provide further identifying information on the man or his case.
